Taste of My Science Dream

Now I am pursuing my master’s degree in optical engineering at Beihang University under the supervision of Xiong Pan (Research Professor). My research journey began with inverse design — using powerful computers and AI tools to design photonic devices — and then extended from optical computing, as a hardware substrate for edge intelligence, toward a broader vision of intelligent computing hardware (still my vision, not begun yet).

Educational Background

From 2020 to 2024, I studied at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Weihai — a very beautiful city. There were a lot of smart people there, and I am still in respect for them. Actually, my research interest at that time was basketball. I am a big fan of basketball.

From 2024 to 2027, I studied at Beihang University, in the Institute of Optoelectronic Technology, School of Instrumentation and Optoelectronic Engineering. There are a lot of good teachers and good engineers to teach me how to do science research.

• [2026.09.30] I am going to leave Tsinghua University. During these months, I constructed a differentiable model of the scattering and coupling system, and met many outstanding people. I wish them all the best, today and always. On my last day in Tsinghua, I saw this beautiful scenery.
  
• [2026.08.15] I accepted the offer from Prof. Fan Wu, a patient and interesting teacher at Westlake University. I am going to be a Ph.D. applicant there. Good luck to me! I am looking forward to doing research with him.
• [2026.07.01] I started to be a visiting student at Tsinghua University, collaborating with Prof. Wang and Prof. Deng.
